Category A1 Rules For Motorcyclists
The rules for category a1 are applicable to those who want to operate small motorcycles. These motorcycles have a maximum cylinder power of 35 kW. They are not derived from vehicles with more than double their power.
Open category drone operations are split into three subcategories - A1 to A3. You can fly drones with the class label C0 or the A1 in the subcategory A1 (flying over people) up to January 2024.
A1
Category A1 is the first of three drone categories regulated by EASA. It is applicable to aircraft up to a maximum takeoff weight (MTOM) which is 25 kilograms. It requires a flight plan as well as an account of flight along with an identification system for remotes and a geoawareness system. The drone must remain in the sight of the pilot. It is not allowed to fly over people or areas that are used for commercial, recreational or industrial reasons. The drone must remain at a minimum of 120 meters above ground level.

A1 applicants must have a minimum of 16 years of experience in riding two-wheeled vehicles. They must also complete compulsory basic training and pass a theory test and a practical test. Moreover, they must possess an official medical certificate.
A1 license holders are able to drive two-wheeled mopeds, as the cylinder capacity is no more than 125 cc and their power-to-weight ratio is not more than 0.1 kg/kW. They are also able to operate motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of no greater than 125cc as well as quad bikes and trikes.
The category A1 licence is designed to allow drivers to get to the next vehicle category. This allows them to drive vehicles with a a maximum mass of 35 kW. This is a reason to gain experience driving less powerful vehicles before moving on to the higher categories of licence.
Drones that are currently in use but don't have the CE mark can still be operated under the subcategory "A1" until January 1st 2024. This is because they are thought to be low risk and don't pose a significant risk to the general public. However, they must be at a distance of 150 meters from structures, industry and recreational areas. In addition, they must not fly over crowds or operate within 5 kilometres of airfields and airports.
A2
You could be eligible for an A1 license after you have completed your CBT and are interested in getting a motorcycle license. This permits you to drive a small bike without a sidecar. It must have the capacity of cylinders up to 125cc, and the power output can be up to 11 kW. The licence is only accessible to those who are at least 16 years of age. You can also fly drones that have a maximum mass of 4kg in the A2 category, but they must be kept at a safe distance from people when taking off and landing. The drones should be at least 30m in horizontal distance from people when in low-speed mode or 5m if they are not involved. You also must pass the A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC) exam to fly in this category.
If you want to fly larger drones, you'll need to apply for an operator's license for a specific category. This requires you to complete the General VLOS Certificate training, flight assessment, and create an Operations Manual. A2 can also allow you to operate transitional drones that are not yet CE registered, but have been modified to lessen the risk of collisions with other people. You will only be able to fly these drones with A2 until the end of 2022, after which they'll have to be in compliance with A3 rules.
The A1 and A2 categories can help you become a confident and safe motorcyclist. The number of lessons you will have to complete will depend on your skill and progress, but a prescribed number of special rides must be taken. This includes a minimum of five lessons on country roads or highways, as well as three lessons in darkness or dawn.
A3
This category allows flights with drones with the maximum mass for take-off of up to 25 kg. It is a less risky operation but stringent precautions should be taken to prevent incidents. A distance of 150 meters is required between drones and residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational areas. This category also requires drones to be fitted with an identification system for remotes and a geoawareness system.
As with the Open category this tier is subdivided into subcategories A1, A2 and A3. The A1 subcategory permits flights over uninvolved people and is exclusively designated for drones having the Class identification label C0 or C1. It requires a minimum distance of 30m from any third party when flying at an altitude of flight or 5 metres in slow flight mode.
Drones that have the Class Identification Label C2 may be operated under subcategory A2 when they meet the size requirements and the remote pilot has passed an additional knowledge test. This test is designed for the remote pilot to evaluate their knowledge of the technical and operation mitigations that address the additional risks of flying bigger drones (class A2, less than 4kg mass), close to people. The certificate of competence to fly Category A2 is awarded after successful completion of this test.
Due to the limited availability of certified drones in this category There are transitional arrangements that allow non-certified "legacy drones to be operated in categories A1 and A2 for two years after the new EU regulations are in the market. The drones of the past cannot be flown over the heads of people and must be operated by an A2 CofC.
To operate drones in this category, you must pass the normal online flyer ID test, and then pass an additional test in the theory department. You must also declare that you have some actual understanding of your drone and submit a written declaration of competence. These requirements are similar in nature to the model of a driving license, whereby drivers who first get their license for a lower category vehicle can then be upgraded to a higher category.
A4
The DOH is currently working on detailed guidelines to be used in category A4. These will be consistent with other procedures and will include specifics such as the number of dressing changes each day. They will be presented to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infections (IATF-EID) and the DOH National Immunization Technical Advisory Group. The IATF-EID and the DOH-National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization will be reviewing and approving these guidelines prior to their being finalized.
Drones with the class identification label C0 or C1 are able to fly within 50 metres of people who are not involved in the incident. cena egzaminu a1 is a low-risk category however, strict security measures are required to reduce incidents. Drones that are not classified in either A1 or A2 must pass an additional theoretical knowledge examination to be operated in this subcategory.
This test aims to determine knowledge of the added dangers associated with flying drones in close proximity to people. The successful completion of the test results in a certificate of competence for this subcategory. The pilot must maintain a minimum distance of 30 meters from any non-involved person or 5 metres if flying in a slow flight mode.
If you are looking to get a motorcycle licence, you must complete some training sessions to pass the theory test, and then pass the practical test. This amount varies depending on your age, skill level and learning speed. But, at least 12 lessons lasting 90 minutes are required to be completed.
In these classes, you will learn about your vehicle and traffic laws. Additionally, you will get useful tips to drive in difficult terrain. In addition to the required classes, you are required to attend a specified number of special rides.
The new category E blends classes A1 (retail), class A2 (financial and professional services) Class B1 (offices) Class A4 (restaurants/cafes) and classes A5 and B5 (hot food takeaway). It also includes health/medical uses, creches and nurseries and indoor sports/recreation facilities. The new licensing system is expected simplify and cut costs. The landlords will be able to use their properties in ways that they are not currently permitted.
